For the Kids

When you’re planning a wedding, you want to make sure to consider the comfort and enjoyment of your guests- down to even the smallest members!
For our wedding reception, I have made these coloring books for the kids at the reception to enjoy.

They include beach themed coloring pages and activity pages for the older kids.

100_1167I will have crayons in little white buckets for the kids to take to their seats with them at the reception.  The coloring books will be sitting in a basket on the hearth of the fireplace right as the guest walk in the door at the reception.

  1. Cortney, I love the coloring book idea! And I know the parents will too, not to mention the kiddos.

At my wedding I pulled a childrens' hight table from one of the SS class rooms into the reception room, covered it with white paper (just like Macaroni Grill) and had crayons etc. for the kids to color on their "table cloth"

Weddings WITH kids are so wonderful. I never liked the idea of an "adults-only" wedding. So glad you're having everyone, and that those little people can see the testimony of your wedding, too.

Anna, that is a great idea to use a kid sized table and cover with paper! I totally agree, I want to the kids to be there and enjoy the day and understand the importance of marriage! Thanks for reading!
