On our wedding project workday we got lots accomplished: cut out all the fabric for the table runners (my grandmother is sewing them now), finished making all the cloth napkins, made a driftwood sailboat, made signs that say Bride and Groom for mine and Jeremy's seats at the reception, reserved seating signs, and cut out scrapbook paper to cover aluminum cans for the back of our getaway car. Pretty good for one day!

My favorite project is the driftwood sailboat. I was inspired by this one that I had saw on Layla and Kevin's blog. Click on the photo for the link!
Here is how our version turned out...
And here is the mini-mock up of the table settings for the reception. The flowers at the wedding will be blue, but I only had white fake ones :) They already have ivory tablecloths at our venue. The vases are the dollar store hurricanes you've probably seen all over blogland. They have the glass vases at the dollar store as well as glass candlesticks. Glue them together and viola!
Here is a photo of the inside of our reception venue so you can imagine it there.
Can't wait to see it all come together on the big day!
How exciting. Looking forward to hearing more about the prep, and of course all the lovely piccy's from the big day.
